FORTY FIVE YEARS OF RIDING FUN
I began trying to sell my 1975 Kawasaki 900 Z1B about 5 years ago and I think the market for this bike finally improved. I invested lots of time and money in it and enjoyed riding for a few extra years. After 45 years (or 16,684 days) I finally sold it on January 14, 2021!
I bought my Z1 on May 12, 1975 and it was a very fun summer!

2019 Update...
After a few months in the shop at Speed Wrench I finally got my bike back in early July. The engine was rebored, pistons were replaced and a valve job was done. I went for my first ride of the year around Westlake Village Lake and then through Hidden Valley.
Early 2020 and the Z1 running great!
Hidden Valley - April 30, 2020 - 33,250 Miles
Triunfo Creek Park - May 2020
33,333.3 miles on the odometer. (May 31, 2020) |
Runs Great!

January14th in North Ranch was a very warm, sunny and windy day - a great day for a ride to Malibu on a Z1.
And the happy new owner just rode away with a very collectible bike...
That's all folks!
Great investment in fun for sure!
